This weekend was beautiful and typically this time of year, I enjoy pruning back my perennials, pulling up weeds, turning over the vegetable garden, planting new seeds and plants, and mulching. But, it's starting to be a bit taxing on my body to bend over and to carry heavy bags and so on. I was able to do some trimming and I cleared out part of the vegetable garden. We still have carrots growing, as well as garlic chives and parsley. Thank goodness I have a loving husband that enjoys taking care of the yard as much as I do. I directed him to pull weeds, I sent him to the store to buy compost and mulch, and on Sunday, he was replanting grass mounds from the flower beds in the lawn. Nik loves a beautiful lush lawn for bocce!

Yeah, Anne!! You look great and so do your flowers!! I am looking at your pretty spring pictures while we are in the middle of a blizzard warning, school is cancelled, and it's dumping snow. I miss you and can't wait to meet your sweet Annik baby!!!
