The Grand Canyon

What can you say about the Grand Canyon?  Well, pictures and words cannot describe it.  You really have to make the trek to visit the massive beauty.  My mom and I arrived at the South Rim around 12:00 PM.  We toured the visitor's center, the Hopi House, El Tovar, and various points in that area.  Later in the afternoon, we checked into the Maswik Lodge, which is located 5 minutes from the rim.  An excellent location!  That evening, we jumped on the shuttle bus that headed west along the rim to Hermit's Point.  We stopped at several points along the way, and we ended up at Mohave Point for the sunset.  Check out the pics:

Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon is an absolutely beautiful area north of Sedona, along Highway 89.  It's about a 40 minute drive between Sedona and Flagstaff.  There are a handful of vistas with parking along the way.

Sedona, AZ Area

These beautiful landscapes were taken south of Sedona, Arizona around Hwy 179.

My mom and I hiked Little Horse trail to Chicken Point.  Here are the pictures from the hike:
